Does it hurt?

Highly effective topical anesthetics are used to numb the area before and during the procedure, and every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable throughout. Please notify Kelly if you have allergies to numbing agents such as lidocaine, tetracaine, and epinephrine.

 

What is the healing process like?

There is an active healing time of approximately 7-10 days. During this time you will need to closely follow the aftercare instructions given to you at the end of your appointment.  Once the active healing stage is over, the deeper layers of your skin will continue healing for the next 5-8 weeks. You can expect slight fluctuations in colour and value until the 8 week mark.

 

Will permanent makeup fade completely?

Although most pigment fades away with time due to the techniques used in permanent makeup, there is never a guarantee that it will fade away completely. There are many individual factors that go into the longevity of permanent makeup including age, lifestyle, skin type, aftercare, etc. Always consider this before committing to any type of cosmetic tattoo.

What if I need a touch-up?

There is a complimentary first touch-up included in the price for each service listed. This will be booked 5-8 weeks from your initial appointment and will ensure that your desired results are achieved once healed. If you would like an additional touch-up or colour boost beyond this, you will be subject to the outlined touch-up pricing depending on how long it’s been since your first appointment.
